Daily reports of enemy prisoner of war, 1945.

General description of the collection: The daily report of enemy prisoner of war (POW) consists of a series of compiled daily totals of the number of captured enemy POWs in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. This report was compiled by G-1, Supreme Headquarters, Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF), and is divided into three sections by the format of the reports. The first section compiles daily totals for all Allied forces and daily totals for only United States (U.S.) forces from 12 June 1944 to 30 September 1944. For October thru 20 November 1944, the report compares numbers from the 6th, 12th and 21st Army Groups, due to a change in reporting procedures. The third section returns to the reporting format used in the first section for 21 November 1944 to 18 May 1945.
